Soha’s de-glam looks in 31st October



31st October is Soha Ali Khan’s imminent movie for which she has taken up a de-glam look. She opted the similar avatar in Rang De Basanti and according to her these kinds of roles are challenging for her.

She is of the view that without make-up, an artist is totally out in front of the camera. The Tum Mile leading lady stated that “I like such movies because otherwise, with all the glamour, you lose the depth of the character and here you cannot hide behind make-up at all. You are completely exposed and I find that challenging,”

It was inquired regarding her opinion on the gaze and Soha replied that “Yeah, it is great … I would get ready in 10 minutes. All I needed was wearing a long braid.”

Soha continued by saying that the impending movie is previously a landmark for her. She told “I say that every film is ‘The Film’ for me. Some become important because of their box office results. This film is already a landmark,”

The 37-year-old actress further continued that it doesn’t matter what the fate of the movie is but she will still be proud of it. She said “Of course, we want it to make lots of money, but whatever the fate of the film will be. I will always be proud of it,”

Vir Das is also included in the cast of the film and 31st October is based on the consequences of ex-Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi’s assassination and its upshots. Soha and Vir essay a Sikh duo in the film, which will hit the screens on October 7.

The actress, who is the younger sister of eminent Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan, added that the movie has illustrated the 1984 riots via the eyes of one family and that the makers decided to shun politics in the movie. Soha further added “We stayed away from politics. It is a very humane take on what has happened. There are references to certain local leaders but we have not named them. But for people, who know enough about the 1984 riots, they’ll know exactly who we mean,”
