She was stating in an interview with Neha Dhupia in the show named ‘No Filter Neha’ and disclosed that she would cast Bollywood’s gorgeous couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra in the version of the movie, should there be one.
The actress, who is one of the highest-paid actresses in the industry, further added “Who looks virginal? Maybe Alia and for the boy, someone really hot. Siddharth!”
Sonam also revealed that she hasn’t seen the film, “I haven’t seen the film and it was one of those books that I read and I’m sorry to say, I enjoyed it. It was so bad that it’s good! I actually like the characters a lot in that.”
The 31-year-old actress also disclosed that she would cast Kangana Ranaut in the version of Confessions of a shopaholic.
She continued by saying that “She is one of my favorite actresses. I would say me but again, I would say Kangana Ranaut,”
She additionally dished out regarding her options in the Bollywood adaptation of Devil Wears Prada, the actress who has been nominated for four Filmfare Awards, said: “Obviously for Meryl Streep’s character, I would say Shabana Azmi for the reason that she is so brilliant.”
The daughter of actor Anil Kapoor and assistant director to Sanjay Leela Bhansali on the 2005 film Black, continued by saying that “For Anne Hathaway’s character, I would say Shraddha Kapoor. Anne Hathaway has this vibe which Shraddha has I feel. She’s cute, that’s what Anne Hathaway is,”
