The Wi-Fi Medical Checkup Saga in KSA359 views
RIYADH: We have experienced too much technological advancement in the medical sector but you wouldn’t have thought of a medical check-up through Wi-Fi technology.
It is not possible yet, but a doctor in Saudi Arabia dodged a father by saying that he has examined his kids by Wi-Fi and gave a wrong prescription to these little patients.
This weird incident took place in Southern province of KSA Jazan where a man took his two sons, aged 5 and 7 years, to a medical centre for checkup because they were suffering from fever.
Without proper examining the kids and checking their temperature, the doctor there gave them a prescription and when their father asked inquired about it, he said that he examined them by Wi-Fi.
The man took his sons to another clinic where they were examined and given a different and prescription that was required to both kids.
The father has written a letter to health department to investigate the case and punish the doctor for violating rules and attempt to play with human body.
