Tribunal reserves verdict in NA-122 Rigging Case


LAHORE: Election Tribunal has reserved its judgment in alleged electoral rigging case in National Assembly’s constituency NA-122.

COURT-ORDER-480x238According to the media reports, Tribunal Judge Kazim Malik has reserved judgement in this case after listening o the arguments given by both sides’ counsels in detail.

The verdict will be announced on Saturday 22nd August 2015.

54d5d623ac8b0Speaker National Assembly Ayaz Sadiq of PMLN had emerged victorious from this constituency by defeating PTI Chairman Imran Khan who has challenged his opponent victory by leveling rigging charges.

PTI Chief had filed a petition in election tribunal and also forensic vote audit was done upon his request. The case was pending in the tribunal for more than two years.
