US Soccer saves Hope Solo from her domestic violence case



MANITOBA: The United States goalkeeper Hope Solo was accused by her sister for an assault in a scuffle last June, currently the US Soccer Federation is handling her domestic violence case.

Solo, who is currently playing for her national team in the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2015 at Canada has not been suspended by the federation after being involved in an assaulting case.

According to the federation, they do not found Solo guilty after taking her interview and of her family members. The federation further said that they did not interview Solo’s sister who filed the case against her because she completely denied of attacking her sister and nephew. So the federation officials concluded that it is a ‘he said, she said situation.’

Hope Solo is currently considered as the best female goalkeeper in the World and she plays a very vital role in every encounter of the United States. Talking about Solo US’s former Swede coach Pia Sundhage said she is a ‘Piece of work and the best goalkeeper in the world.’
