Waqar supported verdict of appointing Inzamam

Waqar Younis, the Ex-Pakistan head coach and right-arm fast bowler supported the verdict of PCB. He on Friday supported the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) resolution to assign Inzamamul Haq as chief selector for the national team.

The 44-year-old player, in the array of tweets, admired PCB for executing his recommendations which he provided after 2015 World Cup.

Waqar Younis stated as:

“Hearing Inzamam coming as chief selector. V good news. Glad PCB now listening to my 2015 recommendations.”

Haroon Rasheed, who is the past chief selector, was packed on 4 April later than PCB chairman admitted the suggestion of a special committee with consideration to an alteration in the selection committee. Rasheed as well bore condemnation in Waqar Younis’ post-World T20 account.

Though, the previous head coach yet mourned the board’s further verdicts to hire an interim coach for the national side.

Waqar Younis’s another tweet was as:

“Bad decision to consider interim coach. Still have plenty of time b4 Eng Tour. Need vision for future planning”

Waqar, one of the greatest and fastest bowlers of all time, resigned from his position as the head coach on 4 April, later than a conference with the PCB chairman Shaharyar Khan.

Waqar had as well stated when he was talking to the media outside PCB headquarters and his words as, “I am resigning as the head coach of Pakistan cricket team,” Waqar further continued by saying, “I am stepping away with a heavy heart. I want to thank everyone with whom I have worked honestly for the last 19 months. I tried my best to help all the players become better versions of them.”

Previously, the name of Test cricketer Iqbal Qasim was as well run in the news for the position of chief selector.
