White House Correspondents’ Dinner908 views
The White House Correspondents’ Dinner with US president Barack Obama is on the books right now.
Here are five of the best moments from the dinner:
Priyanka Chopra, the leading Bollywood beauty, has surprised the world, after arriving inTimes‘Most Influential People’ list; the Quantico lady attended the splendid White House Correspondents Dinner.
Fashioned by Sophia Banks, Priyanka came at the White House in a head-turner designed by Zuhair Murad. She donned with low dropping neckline, and sparkly black outfit with least jewelry from Sara Weinstock and shoes from Christian Louboutin.
All through his farewell speech, Obama made a plethora of jokes, keeping his audience entertained.
He joked that being welcome by George in his checked pyjamas and monogrammed housecoat was alike to Republican leaders no more responding his phone calls.
He stated that “It’s not just Congress. Even some foreign leaders they have been looking ahead, anticipating my departure,”
He continued as, “Last week Prince George showed up to our meeting in his bathrobe. That was a slap in the face. A clear breach of protocol.”
Obama mentioned Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in his speech. Forecasting his thrash to Hilary Clinton, Obama stated, “Next year, this time, someone else will be standing here in this very spot, and its anyone’s guess who she will be.”
In another dull manner, Obama called out, “You know I gotta talk about Trump!… I am a little hurt that he is not here tonight. We had so much fun the last time.”
Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders recently asserted he doesn’t own a tuxedo, being informal at the annual black-tie event by donning a navy business suit and tie. At the dinner, President Obama jabbed amusement at Sanders’ all through his speech.
He joked, “Bernie you look like a million bucks, or to put in terms you’ll understand, 37,000 donations of $27 each.”
The essence of the strut, President Obama concluded his final White House Correspondents’ Dinner speech by dropping the mic — exactly. Putting two fingers to his lips, he rose up his mic, then allow it spectacularly drop to the ground. He stated “With that, I have just two more words to say: Obama out,”
