Snowfall In Northern Areas Further Dips Mercury1,086 views
ISLAMABAD: Widespread rain-thunderstorm lashed different parts of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan as snowfall northwestern upper area further dropped temperature during last 24 hours.
The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast more showers and snowfall during next 24 hours, cold winds enveloped upper Punjab, KPK, Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan following rain and light snowfall over hills.
Met Office says scattered rain-thunderstorm accompanied by gusty winds is expected in upper KP (Malakand, Hazara, Peshawar, Kohat, Mardan divisions), upper FATA, Islamabad, Upper Punjab (Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions), Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
More snowfall is also expected over the hills of Malakand division, GB and Kashmir.
